Allen Plemons

September 19, 2011 Allen Leon Plemons, 86, passed away September 7, 2011 in Provo, UT. He was born May 12, 1925 in Catoosa to William Albert and Viola (Blair) Plemons. Allen served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II and The Korean War. Allen married Blanca (Perales) in Las Vegas, NV on April 3, 1960. A longtime meat cutter, Allen was a hard worker who enjoyed square dancing, coin collecting, and raising orchids and bonzai trees. Allen had been living with his daughter Alana Woffinden and grandchildren at the time of his death. He was preceded by his wife Blanca Plemons; William Plemons, a son lost at childbirth; and Mike Plemons, an adopted son from his previous marriage. He is survived by his daughter Alana V. Woffinden, 48; and grandchildren: Shane, 26, Amber, 23, Austin, 20, Shad, 15, and Adam, 8. Visitation: 5-7PM Friday, September 16 at Kennedy-Kennard Funeral & Cremation, 202 E.
