Alvin Blue

September 6, 2012 Alvin Eugene Blue was born February 22, 1949 to the union of Bernice Jackson and Charlie Blue in Little Rock, Arkansas. Alvin attended Little Rock Public school where he received his education in 1967. In 1996 Alvin moved to Tulsa, Ok and was employed with Nonni's Food Company until he retired in 2011. Al was a member of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church where he was baptized and received the lord as his savior in early 2004. Al was united in holy matrimony to Sylvia Blue in October of 2004. In his leisure time he enjoyed collecting Arkansas Razor Back memorabilia, NFL memorabilia and loved to dress. Alvin Blue was called home to glory on August 27, 2012. He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Blue; step father LA Jackson; maternal grandparents, Florence Mitchell and Johnny Jerry; paternal grandparents Georgia Blue and Charlie Blue Sr.;
sister, Mickey Pickering; brother, Ronald Blue and granddaughter, Kennedy Burch.
Al, leaves to cherish his loving memory to his wife, Sylvia Blue of Tulsa, OK; mother, Bernice Jackson of Little Rock, AR; daughter, Soniyyah Blue of Fort Smith, AR; four sons, Brent (Dawn) Blue of Muskogee, OK; Marcus Blue; Mustfroc' "Mel" (Dottie) Miller both of Little Rock, AR and Alvin "Shane" (Cassandra) Blue of Arlington, TX; step daughter Jamila Riggins of Tulsa, OK; step son Brylan Riggins of Chesapeake, VA; five sisters, Cassandra Blue, Debra (Ronnie) Brown, Sharol Jackson and Nancy Holmes all of Little Rock, AR and Dorothy Lilly of Fayetteville, NC; ten brothers; Leonard Blue, Michael (Tinna) Blue both of Tulsa, OK; Jackie Blue, Marcus (Jennifer) Blue, Charleston Blue, Alvin Harden, Charles Harris, Carl Gilmore, Darryl Jackson, and Christopher Price all of Little Rock, AR; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and best friend Val Waldon. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Am Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Kennedy-Midtown Chapel in Tulsa, OK.
