Barbara Henderson

October 5, 2013 Barbara Rae Henderson of Verdigris entered her Heavenly Home on September 25, 2013. She was born to Joe Raymond and Nettie Mae LaFerney Crutcher on May 29, 1940, in McRae, Arkansas, where she lived to the age of seven before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joe Alvin Crutcher, and her grandson Joe Allen. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of twenty-eight years and one month, John Henderson; her children: Kevin Allen and wife Debra, of Pennsylvania; Jeff Allen and wife Mojca, of Virginia; Jared Sanders and wife Shari, of Arkansas, and Jon Sanders, of Virginia; her brother: Jim Crutcher and wife Sandy, of Arizona; her grandchildren: Ben of Oklahoma, Jennifer of Missouri, Gabriel and husband David of North Carolina, Rebecca and husband James of Virginia, Jacob (Jake)
of Virginia, Lucy of Virginia, and two great-grandchildren: Jayden and Nickolas of Missouri;
also numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends. Barbara was a member of Al-Anon until she became disabled in 1990. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. Barbara loved to work in her flower beds and that was one of her favorite things to do. She also loved fishing, garage sales, and refinishing old furniture. She will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5th, 2013, at Kennedy-Kennard Funeral Home, 202 East Oak Street, Catoosa, Oklahoma, 74015.
