July 28, 2010 Curtis Dale Conley of Catoosa, 75, entered eternal life July 28, 2010 in Tulsa. He was born September 2, 1934 in Claremore to Dale and Ira Lee (Griffith) Conley. Curtis served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He built Conley Garage in 1960 and was the owner/operator for many years. Curtis married Sheilda (Robison) December 30, 1970 in Miami. On the City Council since 1975, he served as Catoosa's first official Mayor for 18 Chamber of Commerce. Curtis also served on Catoosa's first Fire Department. Curtis enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, barbequing and attending his great-grandsons' baseball games. He was preceded in death by his father Dale Conley; and brothers: Jack and Donnie Conley. In addition to his loving wife Sheilda of 39 years and 6 months, Curtis is survived by his daughters: Sonja Redding and her husband Bo of Catoosa, Doniece Burns and her husband Mitch of Bixby; son Greg Addington of Catoosa; grandchildren: Monica McConnell and her husband Doug of Verdigris, Dustin Redding and his wife Tara of Tulsa;
great-grandchildren: Kaden and Kenna Redding, Odin McConnell; great-nephew whom they raised: Ryan Robison; mother Ira Lee Burris; brothers: Fred Conley and his wife Delores of Grove, Jerry Conley and his wife Brenda, Bill Conley and his wife Eva, all of Catoosa; numerous nieces and nephews.
