Darrell Han

August 11, 2011 Darrell Duane Hansen of Catoosa, 64, entered eternal life November 11, 2010 in Tulsa. He was born September 2, 1946 in Correctionville, IA to Elmer B. and Pearl Eva (Whitesell) Hansen. Raised in a Lutheran family, he graduated from Elba, NE High School. Darrell served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1969. Darrell married Wilma Jean (Slater) January 15, 1971 in Vinita. He was a City of Claremore Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator for 40 years who was proud of his country. An avid sportsman, he was a TV fan. Darrell loved his beloved dog BoBo. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his sister Lois (Hansen) McBee; stepdaughter Sharon D. Cleek; and many aunts and uncles. Darrell is survived by his loving wife Wilma Jean Hansen of the home; brothers: Delmer D. Hansen of Kearney, NE and Doug D. Hansen of Holdrege, NE; step-granddaughter Nikki Cleek and step-grandson Gene Cleek, both of Talala; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
