Delbert McNeil

Delbert Antonio McNeil was born on August 4, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Odell Brown and Shirley (Burnett) McNeil. Delbert left this world on August 29, 2019 at his home in Tulsa. Delbert was currently employed as a floor manager with Foam Rubber in Tulsa.

Delbert was an avid Chicago Bulls fan and was the life of the party everywhere he went. His goal in life was to make everyone smile and bring laughter through the toughest of situations to make sure everyone he surrounded himself with knew he was loved. He is preceded in death by his parents Odell and Shirley. Delbert leaves behind those who will cherish his memory his son Delbert McNeil Jr, Sisters Sheila Burnett of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cassandra Jones of Country Club Hills, Illinois. Additional his very special friend LaShonda Youngblood, uncles John Cook (Ruth) of Wilburton, Oklahoma, Harry Cook of Tulsa Oklahoma, aunts Donna Cook of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Geraldine Cook of Tulsa, Oklahoma, neices, Betty Burnett and Anayah Jones, nephews Edward Burnett of Tulsa, Elijah and Josiah Jones of Country Club Hills, Illinois a host of cousins and longtime friends, his step children Ananice, Dyeshon and Katoria Harper all of Tulsa. His grandchildren Antonio, Jamyra, Benjamin, Sharae, Shanelle, Tristian, A'riyah, Khyele, Zion, DeMarcus, and Christian who preceded him in death. along his former wife and longtime friend Tonya Jeanette Harper, of Tulsa.

Visitation for Delbert will be on Sunday September 8, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 5 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10:00 am at Gods Shining Light Church 9897 East 11th Street, Tulsa Oklahoma with the Rev. Jim Rutherford serving as minister, burial will take place at the Degnan family cemetery in Wilburton, Oklahoma.
