Elmer Henry

August 11, 2011 Elmer Vern Henry of Tulsa, 58, entered eternal life December 10, 2010. He was born January 4, 1952 in Gordon, NE to Percy and Sadie (Laysbad) Henry. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard. Elmer married Gertie Elizabeth (Standing Bear) January 1, 1984 in Rapid City, SD. He enjoyed running as a young man, attending his grandsons' baseball games, watching football, the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, fixing cars, being handy and eagles. In addition to his parents, Elmer was preceded by his son Kyle Jason Henry and nephew James Shoulderblade. He is survived by his loving wife Gertie Henry; daughters: Kimberly and Kelli Henry;
grandchildren: Kyle, Gracie, Madelyn and Estacio; sister Bernadette Shoulderblade;
nieces: Renessa and Vanessa; nephews: J.R., Timothy, Scott and Nehemiah Shoulderblade; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Interment at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Porcupine, SD. Kennedy-Kennard Funeral & Cremation, 918.251.5331.
