Geneva Lewis

Geneva Joy Lewis was born in Sasakwa, Oklahoma on March 12, 1933. She was born to Netche and Bertha (Todd) Gray. Geneva passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 86. She lived majority of her life in Tulsa/Jenks area. She was married to the late Paul Dean Lewis on December 8, 1975. She worked in cosmetology for majority of her life until she started a pilot car/trucking service with her husband Paul. They named it “The Lewis Escort”. She gained a talent by memorizing every single state highway, overpass, and exit by numbers without looking at a map. Geneva loved to travel, and her bicycle club was one of her most passionate hobbies. She enjoyed being a grandma, and spending time with all her grand-children, great grand-children, and great-great grand-children through their proudest accomplishments and/or sporting events. She will be missed as a mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

Geneva is preceded by; her parents, Netche and Bertha Gray, husband, Paul Dean Lewis; and one son, LaMont Osborne.

Geneva is survived by; one son, Joe Menawa Sulphur Jr, Eufaula, OK.; four grandchildren, seven great-grand-children, and seven great-great-grand-children.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Kennedy MidTown Funeral Home Chapel.

Paulbearers will be Tim Harjo, Barry Whiteman, Daryl Lewis, Saweke Sulphur, Brandon Harjo, and Gino Lopez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael "Hully" Sulphur, Seth "Boat" Harjo, and Beckham Yvkvpeyate Beaver.
