Harold Pemberto

July 14, 2012 Harold "Poncho" Pemberton passed from this life on July, 11, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age 0f 66 years, 9 months and 15 days. He was born on September 26, 1945 in Stigler, OK to Floyd D. and Elsie Jane (Anderson) Pemberton. Poncho worked as a construction truck driver for Tulsa County for 32 years and his co-workers there were just like family to him. He was also a gifted horse trainer and was able to break even the most stubborn horse. Poncho, also known as "Punchie," was proud of his Cherokee heritage and enjoyed tooling leather in his spare time. He was just a "good ol' cowboy" and will be dearly missed. Poncho was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd D. and Elsie Jane Pemberton; brother, Elmer Davis Pemberton; and sister, Kay Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Ginger Bryant; son, Harold "Pepo" Pemberton, Jr. and wife Melissa;
grandchildren, Krystle Bryant, Kolton Bryant, Kolby Bryant, Alysia Pemberton Coyle and husband Corey and Ashleigh Pemberton; sisters, Genevieve Pemberton, and Penny Gray and husband Jim; nieces and nephews, Cindy Pemberton, Mitchell Pemberton, Judy Pemberton, Marsha Billingsley, Deana Jones, Tony Gray and Jackie Gray; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends. Happy Trails to you Poncho, until we meet again. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Kennedy-Kennard Funeral Home in Catoosa. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Kennedy-Kennard Funeral Home Chapel in Catoosa and a Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 that afternoon at the Fields Cemetery in Porum, OK. www.kennedycares.com
