September 29, 2011 Henry Lewis Allison of Catoosa, 75, passed away September 27, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born February 14, 1936 in Collinsville to William and Wanda (Jones) Allison. He had owned and operated Allison Restaurant Supply since 1972. Henry was an active and lifetime member of the Catoosa Chamber of Commerce, Moose Lodge, Herman & Sons Lodge in San Antonio, TX, Catoosa Historical Society, QB Club and Little League Baseball. He contributed in the restoration of the Catoosa Historical Society Caboose and Route 66 Blue Whale. Henry assisted in the annual Christmas and 4th of July parades. His awards include the "Service to Mankind" award from the Catoosa Sertoma Club in 2002, and "Community Spirit" award for outstanding service to the community of Catoosa in 2010. In April of 1993 an F5 tornado devastated Catoosa and destroyed Henry's restaurant business. He rebuilt his business at the same place. He enjoyed fishing at Eucha Lake, his "Grandkids", old cars and antiques. Henry was preceded by his son Keith Allison; parents: William and Wanda Allison; brothers: Dale, Don, Ted and Melvin Allison; and sisters: Vivian and Lois. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Daisy Allison; son Bruce Allison and his wife Jenny, Scott Allison and his wife Debbie; grandchildren: Morgan and Gunner Allison;
brother Merle Allison; sister Lorene Tucker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing:
