Jerry Warford

August 13, 2011 Jerry Allen Warford of Tulsa, 69, entered eternal life June 17, 2010 at his second home in Sand Springs. He was born August 31, 1940 in LeFlore County, OK to Eugene Ray and Minnie Rosetta (Pinell) Warford. Longtime owner/operator of Warford Tree Service, he helped many people and developed special relationships with his customers. Jerry enjoyed fishing, camping, playing the guitar and singing, but especially his grandchildren. He married Lisa Marie (Bricker) July 7, 1986 in Tulsa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Big Vernon J. Warford and Vernon Warford; first wife Doris Kay (McAfee) Warford. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Lisa M. Warford of the home; 9 children: Rosetta Layton of Salina, Allen Warford , Carrie Allen and her husband Jim, all of Oologah, Carol Warford of Norman, Taylor Symonds and her husband Aaron of Glenpool, Chris Staab and his wife Cindy, Jayson Staab, Eric Staab and his wife Katy, all of Sand Springs and Lacy of the home; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren;
brothers: Paul Warford and his wife Jeannie of Mannford; sisters: Ruby Breeden, Virginia Ingram and her husband Bill, Ruth Compton and her husband Art, all of Tulsa, Mary Hoobler of Joplin, MO, Esta Wesley of Beggs, Jeannie Lane and her husband David of Claremore; mother-in-law Cecelia Bricker of Sand Springs; dearest friend, "Best Buddy,"
"Boss," and "Wife #2," Katherine Reid of Tulsa. Lisa wishes to express her sincere appreciation to their son Chris and his wife Cindy, daughter Carrie, and their friends Clint Blevins and Terrie Harris for their tireless care of Jerry, allowing Lisa to tend to the business.
