John Haney

On May 19, 1957 a baby boy was born to John Paul and Billie Jean Haney. They named him John Paul Haney, Jr. He was the 4th of 8 children. John attended Tulsa Public Schools. He worked many years alongside his father at Forsman Asphalt, LLC. He united in marriage with Tashia Burr on May 20, 1985. John was a very protective person who loved his family because he was the guy with the big heart. He loved and knew the Lord and God's Calling was on John's life. He was a man who possessed a wealth of knowledge. Whether it was repairing something or cooking something, John Haney was the man for the task because there seemed to be nothing that he could not repair or cook. He could even diagnose a problem over the phone and direct you on how to repair it. John never met a stranger because he could converse with anyone and make them feel comfortable. John was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Jean Haney, his sister, Beverly Haney-Jackson and 3 brothers, Donnell Haney, Dwayne Johnson & Rickey Haney. He leaves to cherish his memory: father, John Paul Haney, Sr., Tashia Haney, daughter, Coletha Williams Haney, step-son, Cha'vok (Tammy) Burr, sisters, Earnestine (Charles) Townsend, Karen (Michael) Warner, Sandra Haney & Jonnice Haney, brothers, Ronnell Haney, Terrance Haney, John Edward Haney & John Parish Haney, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
