Johnathan Garcia April 6, 1991 - December 6, 2020 Johnathan was born on April 6,1991 in Tulsa Oklahoma. He graduated from Dove Science Academy High School of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Johnathan was the beloved son of Irma Smith Garcia, he was also the beloved father to Nayeli Garcia and Jonathan Garcia Jr. (aka J.J.), the beloved grandson to Juan & Guillermina (Mina) Garcia, as well as a beloved nephew, cousin, uncle, and a beloved friend to many! Though his life was short, departing at the age of 29 years old, he lived life to the fullestalways happy and full of joy! Family meant everything to him. He was a family man, a hard worker, he enjoyed the arts and liked to collect paintings and coins. He also loved animals, having several pets. He and his grandmother had many talks about life and death, and what it would be like when he finally does depart. They would always conclude, “this Life is but a Dream” - not the real reality! Like the wind passing by and passing through. Like us, we are here today and gone tomorrow. As the Bible says in James 4:14 KJV, “whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow, For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” Grandma told him it will not hurt when you leave, you will just open up your arms and call on the name of Jesus and go into his arms like the passing of the wind, here and now gone! This is the reality, we all look forward to. We just didn’t know how soon it would be for Johnathan Garcia. God allowed us to borrow him for a time, and now like the passing of the wind, he has passed over into the loving arms of His Father God forever. But grieve not, we shall see him again. Amen
