Lorene Wilkerson

August 13, 2011 Lorene Inez Wilkerson of Locust Grove, 78, entered eternal life September 15, 2010 in Muskogee. She was born January 27, 1932 in Locust Grove to Joseph and Sally (Budenot) Erwin. Lorene married Luther Wilkerson and together they created a beautiful family. She was a strong Christian and longtime Community Health Representative. A very friendly lady, big talker and fan of red lipstick, she enjoyed drinking coffee and smoking her cigarettes. Most importantly, Lorene loved her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Wilkerson; daughter Debra Piguet; and son Audie Lynn Sumner. She is survived by her loving daughters: Sharon Glasco and her husband Edward Wilson, Janet Polleck; grandchildren: Sharon Potter and her husband Carey, William Schubert, Jerry Schubert, Charlie Schubert, William Sumner, B.J. Sumner, Rusty Sumner, Tammy Farmer and her husband Mark, Lorie Moore and her husband John McComb, Dale Wilkerson and his wife LaTisha McAfee, Kim Moore, Shannon Marie Carpenter and her husband John and Felicia Dawn Wilson; and 20 great-grandchildren.
