Lynn Murphy

August 11, 2011 Lynn Murphy of Tulsa, 59, passed away peacefully June 8, 2011 at her home surrounded by family. She was born October 1, 1951 in Montgomery, AL and spent the majority of her life in Tulsa. Lynn was known for her compassion and kindness. She handled life with strength, grace and dignity. Friends and family commented on her courage and strength, putting others before herself while battling M.S. She loved all animals, especially her dog Lucy. Lynn ran her own manicure business for many years. Spending time visiting was often more valuable to her clients than receiving manicures. Lynn was a member of Holy Family Cathedral. She is survived by her mother Anne Yates; husband Michael Murphy;
son Adlai McMahon and daughter-in-law Samantha; brother Wendell Lang and his wife Pam; sister Sherry Ashlock; niece Destry Davis and her husband Scott; cousins: Marie Miller, Anita Ebert and Bobbie Dement; parents-in-law: John and Theresa Alloway; sisters-
in-law: Diana Witty and Vanessa Hathaway; many loved nieces and nephews; the McMahon family; and close friends: Debbie, Brenda, Paula, Elizabeth and Maria. She was preceded by her father Willie Lawson Pierce.
