Margie Ellis

Margie Nadine Ellis Cartwright went home to be with Jesus on April 22nd, 2017. She was born on December 5th 1929 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Margie was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her favorite past time was crocheting , as most of you know. She loved making afghans, hot pads and dish cloths. Margie definitely had a green thumb. She could make anything grow. Her flowers were always beautiful and her yard was always pretty. Margie was proceeded in death by her husband Virgil Ray Cartwright, her son David Cartwright, son in law, Tim Adams and grandson Keenan Adams. Two brothers, Kenneth and Melvin Ellis. Margie is survived by her six children, Carolyn Adams of Catoosa, Diana Dellaria of Tulsa, Norman Cartwright and wife Connie of Sallisaw, Jannette Rouell of Sallisaw, Bruce Cartwright of Catoosa, Doug Cartwright of Catoosa, and one brother Harlon Ellis of Longview, Texas. Margie has 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank everyone for all the calls, texts, food and support. We covet your prayers as we adjust to a different life without Mother.
