December 21, 2012 Mark Wade Robinson went gentle into that good night on December 19, 2012. He would have been 53 on January 9th. Mark was a bright child, an old soul in a small package with energy to burn and a beautiful smile. He was brilliant at story-telling, and would send his family into fits of laughter in the backseat of the car, on many family trips to Grand Lake. Mark was a born athlete, and excelled at every sport he tried: baseball, football, and finally, his passion, golf. He would play with his father, Ryle, at the Tulsa Country Club, and had an easy camaraderie with his fellow golfers there in spite of the the age differences. Mark had the ability to talk to anyone, and did. He attended Jenks High School and Oklahoma State University, and was an Eagle Scout. Mark is survived by his parents, Ryle and June Robinson of Tulsa and Shirley Robinson of Shakopee, MN; his sister, Suzanna, Tiverton, RI and brother Steve, Shakopee, MN; his nieces, Shannon, Hannah and Melanie. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be given to someone needy during the holiday season. www.kennedycares.com
