MARY SILKEY

Mary Martha Silkey, age 53, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mary was born November 08, 1965 to Jessie Nadine (Thomas) Silkey and Charles Stanley Silkey, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mary graduated from Central High School in 1983.
She met the love of her life, her wife, Sheila Sonzzini Ferreira November 22, 1999. They have been together since December 25, 1999 and were married September 15, 2016 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
She was employed with St. John's Medical Center and for ABM at TCC Metro Campus.
Mary's hobbies included woodworking, cooking, crafts, and gardening. She supported the World Wildlife Fund and the protection of animals.
Mary enjoyed road trips, watching football, Christmas movies, and DYI shows.
She left behind her spouse: Sheila Sonzzini Ferreira; siblings: Jessie Ruth Lomax, Stephen Phillip Silkey, Elisabeth Rachel Silkey, and David Mark Silkey; 13 nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents: Jessie Nadine Silkey and Charles Stanley Silkey; sister: Miriam Rebecca Farris and brother: Stanley Paul Silkey.
