Naomi McGill

Naomi Faye Kester McGill, 92, died at home the morning of December 14, 2016. She was born October 15, 1924 in Rome, Mo to Loney and Kate Kester. On January 14, 1946 Naomi eloped with Claude "Buck" McGill. Together they had four children. Naomi worked as a waitress for several years at the Tulsa truck plaza and was a substitute teacher for Catoosa elementary. She was a long standing member at Lynn Lane and Rolling Hills Baptist Church. Naomi loved going to garage sales, watching WWF wrestling, and playing board games. Naomi loved her family very much and prayed faithfully that each would know and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She led her life as an example for each of us. She is survived by her children, son Terry McGill, daughters Donna Edmundson, husband Frank and Paula Shepard, husband Mike, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Claude "Buck" McGill, son Tony McGill, daughter-in-law Colleen McGill, parents Loney and Kate Kester and siblings Lowell Kester and Mary Belle Deeds.
