Patricia Gill

February 11, 1935 — October 16, 2017

Patricia (Pat) Ann McKinney was born on February 11, 1935 in Wewkoa, Oklahoma. Her parents were Vernon Lee and Obelia Henrietta McKinney. They later moved to Norman, Oklahoma where she attended schools. Pat graduated second in her class from Norman High School in 1953. Almost immediately after graduation, she went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She worked off and on through the years for the telephone company until she had enough years to retire with a pension. After retirement from the telephone company, she worked for Rogers Baptist Association for five years. Then for a brief time she worked for Mrs. DeHaven's Flower Shop in downtown Tulsa. During the summer of 1957, she met Ernie Gill and they were married on January 11, 1958. With him, she served the rest of her life as a pastor's wife.
