Robert White

July 11, 2012 Robert Warren White, Sr. passed from this life on July 10, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 12 days. He was born on August 28, 1929 in Norfolk, VA and served 13 years in the U.S. Navy and 16 years in the U.S. Army. Robert retired from the Military and became a chef. He enjoyed woodworking, especially making birdhouses, toy trains and toy trucks. Robert was an avid fisherman and hunter and also enjoyed running long hauls as a trucker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean White. Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Warren White, Jr. and wife Nancy, Reverend James William White and Timothy Allen White; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Emma White; and numerous other family members and friends. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Lone Elm Cemetery in Claremore, OK.
