December 16, 2012 Samuel Eugene Brown of Haskell, OK passed from this life on December 12, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 67 years and 11 months. He was born on January 12, 1945 in Haskell, OK to Samuel Wilson Brown and Norma Jean (Harding) Brown. Eugene worked for McDonnell Douglas the most part of his life and was proud of his Creek Indian heritage. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, western movies and shooting guns. Eugene was a true outdoors man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and he will be missed dearly. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Brown and son, Mark Guard. He is survived by Dusty Brown; children, Kendra Rainwater of Hominy, Wilson Eugene Brown and wife Jeanetta of Meeker, and Brandy Walker and husband Larry of Haskell; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Donnie Brown of Haskell, Eleanore Bennett and husband Jim of Haskell, Carol Brown of Tulsa and Cathy Evans and husband Brian of Haskell; and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Haskell and a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2012, also at the church.
