Sherman Johnson

September 26, 2011 Sherman R. "Ron" Johnson past away Wednesday September 22, 2011 at 12:35pm after a long illness. He subcontracted as a roofer for over 35 years. The last 15 years of his life he ran a karaoke business at various clubs around Tulsa. Ron was a resident of Tulsa for over 42 years. He was preceded in death by Mother Gertrude E. Fondren Johnson and Father Samuel S. Johnson. Grandparents Thomas and Olivia Fondren and Samuel and Clestie Johnson. Shirley Corona, 5 uncles, 3 aunts, 4 nephews, 2 nieces, 1 great nephew, and a grandson. He is survived by 3 sons Matt Johnson, Tim Johnson and Chris Johnson. Two daughter in laws Angie and Nikki Johnson. Eight grandchildren, Brandon & Nicole Thorp, Bradley McFarland, Morgan Johnson, Brennan Dean, Blake, Dean, Hunter Dean and London Johnson. Two great grandbabies Brayden and Cooper Thorp. Two brothers, Samuel W. Johnson and David L. Johnson. Five sisters, Bobbie K. Thomas, Carole J. Gordon, Robin Y. Boatman, Kathy A. Birge and Kimberley S. Harrison. Numerous nieces and nephews. Significant other Mary Ihrke and son Blake Ihrke. He is also survived by 7 step-children, 28 step- grand children and 13 step-great grandchildren. His family was very important to him. His love was always so patient and kind. He always woke up singing. God had bigger plans for him, but his journey doesn't end. He is "OUR" Angel now to guide and protect us all. He was loved by so many and truly will be missed.
